Willow Smith - "RTA #2"
Willow Smith ended 2015 on just about as high of a note as anyone in the game, dropping her shockingly-mature surprise debut full-length album, ARDIPITHECUS.
But it appears not even the arrival of an album will keep Willow at bay, as she quickly followed up that sprawling release with the loose joint, "Love You W/ Tha Sky." And today, three days into the new year's very first work-week, Smith comes through with yet another potent drop in "RTA #2," waxing politic and philosophic over a heady frequency (produced by the heiress to Bel Air herself) with a little help from frequent collaborator Crystal Mec, who assisted the young artiste on the track “WEEPINGWILOUGH/LETSGOTOMECCA” at the top of 2015.
As for the new track, it's acoustic guitar and didjeridoo-laden atmospherics put to a constant knock and treated with Willow's lilts and swells, which have certainly sharpened with each and every cut that's come our way.
