When Tyler, the Creator first announced the lineup for this year’s Camp Flog Gnaw Carnival, the poster included a set of question marks indicating that a surprise guest would be popping up. When the surprise appearance took place Sunday night, fans expected to be see Frank Ocean. Instead, they were greeted by Drake, and they weren’t happy about.

The Canadian rapper managed to get through nine songs during his surprise set before addressing the crowd to see if they wanted him to continue.
“I’m here for you tonight. If you want to keep going, I will keep going tonight. What’s up? If you want to keep going, I will keep going tonight,” Drake can be heard saying in the video as fans say “No!” in response.
“Well, look. It’s been love. I love y’all. I go by the name of Drake. Thank you for having me,” the artist said before walking offstage. From there, the show proceeded to end.
There are multiple videos taken during the set that show fans booing Drake. However, some fans in attendance have taken to Reddit to explain that the crowd’s frustration with the rapper wasn’t solely just because many had hoped Ocean would be a surprise guest, but because how the surprise guest portion of the event played out. Alongside Drake, Lil Uzi Vert and A$AP Rocky were also guests.
Since then, people have taken to Twitter to call out the fans who booed the Scorpion rapper during the surprise set.
Neither Tyler has since spoken on the incident.
