Houston doctor Stella Immanuel's recent viral speech in front of the Supreme Court has been shared by right-wing websites like Breitbart, as well as Donald Trump and his son, Donald Trump Jr.

Donald Trump has reposted a viral video of a Houston doctor claiming she has cured hundreds of Covid-19 patients using hydroxychloroquine, zinc and Zithromax.

In a report from The Daily Beast, Stella Immanuel made the claim in front of the U.S. Supreme Court on Monday (July 27) at the "White Coat Summit." The event was "a gathering of a handful of doctors who call themselves America’s Frontline Doctors and dispute the medical consensus on the novel coronavirus."

During her speech, Immanuel said that she has successfully treated hundreds of patients (Nigeria's The Guardian noted that the exact number of patients she claimed she has cured is 350) with hydroxychloroquine, the anti-malarial drug that Trump has promoted as a solution to the 2019 coronavirus.

"Patients that have diabetes, patients that have high blood pressure, patients that have asthma, old people … I think my oldest patient is 92 … 87-year-olds. And the result has been the same. I put them on hydroxychloroquine, I put them on zinc, I put them on Zithromax, and they’re all well," Immanuel said in her speech, according to The Guardian.

The doctor also said that her and her staff haven't contracted Covid-19 despite wearing surgical masks over the more sucre N95 masks because of how effective hydroxychloroquine is against the virus. The viral video of Immanuel's speech has since been deleted from Facebook and Twitter, with both citing rules against Covid-19 disinformation. Immanuel addressed Facebook taking down her profile page and videos on her Twitter account, writing:

Hello Facebook put back my profile page and videos up or your computers with start crashing till you do. You are not bigger that God. I promise you. If my page is not back up face book will be down in Jesus name.

Twitter also penalized Donald Trump Jr. for posting hydroxychloroquine misinformation. Jr. had also shared Immanuel's speech, declaring it a "must watch," according to The Daily Beast.

The outlet noted that Immanuel is a registered physician in Houston, and received her medical degree in Nigeria.
