Trevor Noah & Tomi Lahren Talk Trump, KKK & Black Lives Matter On 'Daily Show'

Trevor Noah recently had conservative political commentator Tomi Lahren as a guest on The Daily Show, and their conversation tackled everything from Donald Trump and the Ku Klux Klan to Colin Kaepernick and the Black Lives Matter movement.

As Lahren walked on to The Daily Show stage this past Wednesday night, one of the first things she said was "Sometimes people just need to be called on their shit."

The statement foreshadowed what was to come from Noah, who took her to task when she compared Black Lives Matter to the KKK in a tweet made earlier this year.

Lahren attempted to deny that the comment was based on any racial bias.

"Because I criticized a black person or the Black Lives Matter movement doesn't mean I'm anti black. It doesn't mean I don't like black people or that I'm racist,” she said. “I don't see color. I go after HillaryClinton and she's as white as they come."

Noah's response?

"You don't see color? So what do you do at a traffic light," he said. "There's nothing wrong with seeing color, it's how you treat color that's important."

In many instances the conversation highlighted the hypocrisy of Lahren and other conservative outlets' views on Black Lives Matter, where Lahren attempts to generalize an entire group based on isolated incidents (such as the case with the Dallas shooter).

"You are the same person who argued on your show that just because Trump has supporters from the KKK doesn't mean he's in the KKK," Noah said, in regards to that hypocrisy. "What if somebody said, 'I felt emboldened by Tomi Lahren so I went out and shot black people'? Are you now responsible?"

The chat, which is a little over 26 minutes, can be watched below, where the two also discuss immigration, mainstream media and more.
