TIDAL Pays Tribute To Fans w/ Star-Studded Brooklyn Show feat. Prince, Beyonce & More

Though you may have yet to sip the TIDAL kool aid, it’s looking more and more tempting with each passing day, each batch of new subscribers. Nevermind the fact that Prince has been using the high-fidelity streaming service to drop cuts from the vault, or that they just hit their platinum mark with 1,000,000 subscribers. Today, TIDAL has announced that they’ll be bringing their high-powered roster of owners to Brooklyn’s Barclay’s center as a tribute to fans and a call to action. The roster for their TIDAL X Festival is massive, not in length but in star-power, roping Beyonce, JAY Z, Damian Marley, Usher, Lil Wayne, Nicki Minaj and The Purple One himself, with all proceeds from the show being donated to charity via the terribly named New World Foundation (illuminati truthers, go!)

Tickets for TIDAL’s festival go on sale later today on their site, but unlike most things from the hi-fi service, the event will not be exclusive to subscribers, though they will get first crack at tickets. The general public can cop stubs as of this Friday on Ticketmaster, the link for which is just below along with the full line-up. There will also be a livestream of the event for those unable to attend.
