Tim Westwood‘s stockpile of cinematic treats and highlights must be insane, as this English DJ has just recently shared a very rare offering for Mos Def / Yasiin Bey fans around the world.

Dropping a megatron bomb better than his American counterpart, DJ Funkmaster Flex, Westwood surprises us all with a truly unique “Throwback Thursday” post. Yasiin Bey, then going by the name of Mos Def, completely demolishes the track off the top of the dome. With lines like, “I’m making it right, telephone hotlines with hot rhymes, did the only job one time, it’s not written, not rehearsed, still busting the verse,” Bey manages to shed a spotlight on how dope you had to be in the year before the century shifted.
