Nominees for the 2015 American Music Awards have been announced, a list that includes a host of nods for The Weeknd, predictable acclaim for Mark Ronson and even a tiny bit of shine for D'Angelo. Other apparent favorites include (of course) Taylor Swift, Sam Smith, Ed Sheeran, One Direction, Ariana Grande and Fetty Wap, who was nominated in the "Favorite Artist--Rap/Hip-Hop" category alongside Drake and Nicki Minaj. Interpret that news however you so choose.

The awards air live on ABC November 22nd at 8 p.m., and will feature live performances, however just from whom has yet to be revealed. Read the full list of nominees below, which is a pretty bold reminder that there's a lot going on outside the world of hip-hop (allegedly).
