The Weeknd Is Allegedly Dropping His Next LP Very Soon

It's certainly no secret that The Weeknd is gearing up for the release of a new record, but so far the world has been left in the dark as to exactly when it will arrive. That may no longer be the case today after a 14 track LP entitled Beauty Behind the Madness briefly appeared on iTunes, set to pre-order status and bearing an August 28th release date. With new art that very closely resembles the imagery for The Weeknd's excellent recent single "Can't Feel My Face," the record also included the song in its tracklisting, in addition to recent cuts "Often" and "The Hills."

As the Fader points out, the R&B crooner currently has three songs in the top 20 of Billboard's Hot 100 chart and is riding a massive wave of fresh publicity thanks to his 50 Shades of Grey dealings (and of, of course, his Roots Picnic performance). Here's an image of the purported iTunes leak:

Other rumors appear to be flying on Twitter about Beauty Behind the Madness, but they are, of course, difficult/impossible to confirm:

Are we only six weeks away from a sultry new Weeknd offering? Here's hoping.
