>>> ENTER TO WIN TICKETS TO SEE THE SOUL REBELS & SPECIAL GUESTS
UPDATE! Just added: Black Thought & Afrika Bambaataa DJ set on 2/26 + DJ Enuff on 2/27!
Okayplayer is proud to present NOLA-bred brass masters, The Soul Rebels rocking live at Brooklyn Bowl on February 26th, 27th and 28th. The band will perform a 3-night concert series featuring special guests Pharoahe Monch (Thursday), Rakim (Friday), and Roy Hargrove, whose set will also feature the sounds of D’Angelo and Marvin Gaye (Saturday). The Soul Rebels’ return to Brooklyn Bowl follows a banner year for the band in 2014, which included a stellar showing at the venue this past summer alongside Pro Era general Joey Bada$$. Upping the ante this go-round, TSR joins forces with giants of jazz and hip-hop for a once-in-a-lifetime performance series. The already monstrous lineup is only made better by the fact that TSR and friends will be playing their way through the catalogs of legendary soul men D’Angelo and Marvin Gaye. The Soul Rebels will rock with Rakim on February 26th, Pharoahe Monch on February 27th and Roy Hargrove on February 28th. Doors open at 6:00 PM and each show is scheduled to begin at 8:00 PM. Tickets are $17 per show. Tickets are available for purchase via brooklynbowl.com. Grab your passes NOW!!! You do not want to miss this. Get more on The Soul Rebels via thesoulrebels.com.
