For those of you unaware, The Daily Show is about to undergo a major facelift. With Jon Stewart's days as the show's lead-anchor soon coming to an end, South African comedian Trevor Noah is poised to take the show in a new, sexier direction, starting September 28th, which should provide writers with the opportunity to regroup in the time between Stewart's last show (August 6th) and Noah's takeover of the most biting news satire on cable. It will certainly be sad to see the late-night titan go, but anyone who's seen Noah at work knows he's about as sharp as they come and will almost certainly bring a cool, collected head to the show's already heralded poignancy. So watch out, as we could very well be looking at the makings of the new king of late-night, or just a worthy successor in a gleaming legacy.
