Terrace Martin's "Think Of You" Tells A Tale Of Brokenhearted Love

Grammy Award winning multi-instrumentalist, producer and conductor, Terrace Martin, has been putting in the work with acts like Kamasi WashingtonRose GoldThundercat and Kendrick Lamar.

Now, the Locke High graduate has been curating items from his latest project, Velvet Portraits, another Grammy nominated endeavor. After dropping songs such as “Valdez Off Crenshaw,” “Tribe Called West,” and “Oakland” featuring Lalah Hathaway — the Sounds of Crenshaw CEO drops a video with APLUSFILMZ for “Think Of You”.

Co-starring our First Look Friday alum, Rose Gold, this short film finds Terrace Martin’s lush grooves telling a tale of heartbroken love between a man and a woman. This song, “Think Of You,” is a fantastic groove that bookends Velvet Portraits—a project that you should cop, if you haven’t already.
