Talib Kweli and Styles P have been making music together for over 10 years. Their first collaboration was “Testify,” which appeared on P’s 2006 sophomore album, Time is Money. Since then, they’ve connected on wax numerous times.
That bond the two have has lead to an EP. The project, called The Seven, is a quick EP that allows the two world-class MCs to flex on the mic. They’re not alone, however; guest rappers on The Seven include Common, Rapsody, Jadakiss, and more.
The first single from the perfect is the banging “Last Ones,” which they put a video out for last week.
