OKP Premiere: Head To The Clouds w/ Belgian Electronic 5-Piece STUFF And Their New Single "Skywalker"
After releasing their debut album in March, experimental music collective STUFF (not to be confused with legend Steve Gadd's late-70s side-project of the same name) has launched onto the radars of some of the industry's most dynamic palettes, garnering spins and stamps from cherished curators like Gilles Peterson and their album's engineer/figurehead of the LA beat scene, Daddy Kev. Today we have the pleasure of premiering the latest single off their self-titled debut, "Skywalker"; a liberated funk composition anchored by warbled synths and virtuoso licks, leaning heavily on the band's jazz chops as they propel the track into the stratosphere with changes galore and all-pro musicianship. It's a fine offering from the Belgium-based five-piece, who pride themselves on their live and direct recreations of those madcap studio moments. Stream STUFF's new single "Skywalker" below and grab a copy of the band's debut on vinyl or CD via Big Cartel. And if you're looking to catch the crew in the flesh, peep the full list of their forthcoming tour dates just below the player.
