Let’s just take a second to actualize how Snoop Dogg is killing 2017 in a way that should make other O.G.’s envious. From his daughter Cori B dropping the Brandy-esque tune, “Sittin’ In My Room” to his artist October London releasing his new album — Snoop is setting up a community of artists to gain not only exposure, but new listeners / followers thank to Snoop the Tastemaker.

Today, Snoop the Recording Artist, joined the fray by announcing his upcoming album, Neva Left, which is dated for release on May 19. To build up awareness for the project, the Doggfather also unveiled the project’s album cover artwork, which looks to throwback to his “Deep Cover” days with the low-curl and the tilted brim. The album will be available on digital download, CD and streaming from Snoop’s DoggyStyle Records.

If you pre-order now (see the link below) — you’ll get a free track called “Mount Kushmore,” a song which has been a longtime coming and features Redman, Method Man and Cypress Hill‘s B-Real. “Throughout the years, I’ve had my hands in a lot of different projects, but music has always remained at my core,” Snoop Dogg said. “This album reflects every phase of me throughout my career. I’m excited for y’all to hear this new project that highlights the evolution of the Dogg.”

Currently on his 2017 Mount Kushmore Wellness Retreat Tour, Snoop is joined on this 16-city tour by friends and fellow buddah-heads Lil’ Uzi Vert, Berner, Flatbush Zombies, Wiz Khalifa and the aforementioned legends of the green, Cypress Hill, Method Man and Redman.
