TDE's SiR + Maségo Flex Their Love Chakras On "Ooh Nah Nah"
SiR, the name recently revealed as the second “John Doe” to join the Top Dawg Entertainment empire, has not been sitting idly by letting the ink dry on his contract. No, no, no, the boy is out here working. The California singer linked up with one of our favorite First Look Friday subjects, Maségo, to create this new single that should have you sexting that one you want to lie in bed with.
Called “Ooh Nah Nah,” this slow-burning, red light special of a track sets the mood just right using the drums from Timmy Thomas’ 1973 hit, “Why Can’t We Live Together”. Singing with the confidence of a young Marvin Gaye, SiR has the presence of an OG with the wordplay of a Shakespearian griot. As Maségo joins him as a guest-star on this cut, he is proving more and more that he needs to be mentioned with the other great talents out here making waves.
It’s a TrapScat – TDE collage done right, if I may say so myself. One worthy of repeated pressings of the play button. So, let’s do the world (and your special significant other) justice and let this one blare out until love truly trumps hate.
