Shame On Kanye West For Cutting Stephen Colbert Out Of The "Famous" Video

A lot has been said about Kanye West's new video for The Life Of Pablo's first single "Famous." Writers have dubbed it "provocative" and "scandalous" (though this one would refer to it as a got damn masterpiece.) Reactions have ranged from Lena Dunham's outrage and disgust to Vincent Desiderio (BKA as the artist Kanye "sampled" for the video) claiming it to be "a feat of magic."

Stephen Colbert, on the other hand, is a little displeased, having been played an integral part in the video, snugged up back-to-back with George W. Bush at the very edge of the seemingly endless bed sprawl. And yet, when the video finally premiered, no sight or mention of Colbert's contribution (shame on you, Yeezy.) Luckily, Colbert has dug into the vaults to unearth a very special cut of the visual, in which he is prominently featured. Full disclosure: pretty sure Colbert was not actually in the video, but this may be the first in a torrent of recreations, fully welcomed in our book. Watch as Stephen Colbert embeds himself into Kanye West's much talked about "Famous" video below. Grab your copy of The Life Of Pablo on iTunes today and try as you might to cop a ticket to the Saint Pablo Tour.
