Last week, Serena Williams stunned the world by snapchatting a simple picture. The photo featured the tennis legend showing off her belly with the caption "20 weeks." The post was Williams announcing that she was pregnant.

Williams deleted that snap quickly. And she was quiet for most of the day, until her spokesperson, Kelly Bush Novak, confirmed the news: Serena Williams is in fact pregnant.

So what exactly happened? It turns out the whole thing was a mistake. Serena Williams spoke at a TED Talk with Gayle King last night. Of course, the pregnancy announcement came up. And Williams was honest when talking about the announcement:

"On social media, you press the wrong button and...30 minutes later I missed four calls and I'm like,  'that's weird.'"

We all have been there, haven't we? We want to send a pic to bae but click "my story" by mistake. If it can happen to the GOAT it can happen to you.

For what it's worth, Serena wasn't too pressed by the mistake, telling King:

"It was a good moment...I was only going to wait five or six more days."
