Saul Williams recently stopped by The Colbert Report to discuss Holler If Ya Hear Me - the upcoming Broadway musical based upon the music of rap icon Tupac Shakur - and perform the classic poem "Amethyst Rocks" from his book, The Dead Emcee Scrolls. The visit follows the recent announcement of Williams' role as the lead in the play from director Kenny Leon. The musical wasn't the only topic of conversation for Williams and Stephen Colbert, who discussed the definition of slam poetry and somehow managed to have a pretty epic hand battle in the process.
