On Sunday night, Samuel L. Jackson took to Twitter to voice his support of congresswoman Rashida Tlaib, the woman who called Donald Trump a motherf**ker shortly after being sworn-in.

“I just wanna Wholeheartedly endorse your use of & clarity of purpose when declaring your Motherfucking goal last week,” Jackson tweeted at Tlaib. “Calling that Muthafukkah a Motherfucker is not an issue, calling that Muthaffuqah President.”
Jackson has been known to say the word throughout various roles in his acting career, most notably in the movies Pulp Fiction and Snakes on a Plane.
On Thursday, Tlaib was sworn into office as a new Democratic representative for Michigan. Shortly after that was when she made her impassioned statement calling for Trump’s impeachment.
“We’re going to go in and impeach the motherf**ker,” she said to a group of supporters. Although she never specified her remark was to Trump, Tlaib doubled down on her comment on Twitter, writing: “This is not just about Donald Trump. This is about all of us. In the face of this constitutional crisis, we must rise.”
Tlaib received criticism from both Democrats and Republicans alike. Trump also said she “dishonored” the country and her family with the language she chose to use. But at least Tlaib has Jackson in her corner.
