Run The Jewels Gets A Krang-Inspired Action Figure From Streets Of Beige

Run The Jewels recently joined forces with Streets of Beige to bring their LP artwork to life. The result of the collaboration is the birth of a Krang (of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles)-inspired one-off action figure that plays up Killer Mike and El-P's respective roles in the group. The look of the toy sprung from the sticky fingers on the album cover, which hold those omnipresent 36-inch chains. The Run The Jewels action figure is an artistically correct manifestation of these ideas accented by El-P's signature shades. Streets of Beige breaks down the design of the piece, which is not available for purchase:

This custom was inspired by the severed hands on the albums cover art coupled with the idea that EL-P is the brain behind RTJ and Killer Mike... THE BRAWN!!! Much like Krang and his mechanical android body.

Check the gallery above to get a closer look at the action figure. Download or purchase the Run The Jewels LP on gatefold vinyl via foolsgoldrecs.com. Check the footage below for a booster shot of El-P and Killer Mike. Stay tuned for more from Run The Jewels.
