Listen, listen, listen! If you missed out on seeing the Bad Boy Reunion Tour, please don’t make the mistake of not seeing DMX, Swizz Beatz, The LOX, Eve and Drag-On reunite at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center on April 21.

Trust us, Okayplayers. For those not old enough to know DMX as a history-breaking, chart-topping MC, the Ruff Ryders was his crew full of trained lyrical assassins. Together, they gave us the “Ruff Ryders Anthem,” “Ryde or Die,” and the criminally slept-on cut, “Bug Out”.

While DMX and Swizz Beatz are trying to get their thing popping with the cut, “Bain Iz Back,” the rest of the gang has gone on to do their own thing. The LOX just released a new project titled, Filthy America… It’s Beautiful, while Eve has withdrew from the rap arena altogether after getting married in 2014. Drag-On has been here and there over the years, but he completely fell off once we hit the 2010s. Swiss Beatz did a highly coveted DJ set where he battled Just Blaze and dropped an unreleased song that featured DMX, Jay Z, Nas and Jadakiss.

So far, the only date for this nostalgic romp through the mid-to-late ’90s is April 21 at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center. Tickets will be on sale this Friday and sure to go quickly, so don’t sleep and make sure you cop some for a friend or three.

I know I don’t want to miss it, so, if you see me there, say, “Ryde or Die,” and share a dap. Below, check out one of the standout cuts from Ruff Ryders Vol. 1 and reminiscence with a real one!
