Kid Rock recently expressed his disappointment in the city after deciding not to renew the lease of his restaurant.

After deciding not to renew the lease on his Made in Detroit restaurant on Wednesday (December 4th), Kid Rock expressed his disappointment in a statement on Facebook.

“I will not be renewing my licensing agreement for my Made in Detroit Restaurant this April…I guess the millions of dollars I pumped into that town was not enough.”

Local Detroit station WDIV posted a tweet summarizing the statement, which caught the attention of Royce Da 5’9. The MC responded on Twitter on Thursday morning.

Rock made headlines just last week when a drunken onstage rant went viral. During a performance in Nashville, he went on a tirade criticizing Oprah Winfrey and Joy Behar. He went further on Twitter.
