Raury Freestyles Over Outkast's "Elevators," Announces NYC Debut + WNYU Interview

Raury Throws Bars Over Outkast's "Elevators" On Sway In The Morning

Adolescent ATLien Raury puts one up for his hometown heroes, taking to the mic in a vicious display of verbal over Outkast's classic "Elevators." The teenage titan of left-field ism has been making typhoon sized waves as of late, garnering a whole lot of buzz for someone who has but one (insanely impressive) body of work out there. He took the time to add yet another layer to the onion of his artistry, getting into the stream of consciousness business and dazzling the calloused pallet of Sway and crew on his morning program.

We find the young maven of melancholic mood-music switching from machine-gun like firing to more tactful, graceful and introspective word-weaving, seemingly flooring his host for the day in a champion performance for such a young talent. He'll be making his big-city debut in a couple of weeks, landing at NYC's Webster Hall on September 22nd to woo and croon the anxious masses live and direct. You can download his dynamic and wavy debut Indigo Child EP and scoop a ticket for his show by hitting the links down below. Get acquainted with the MC mind of Raury on Sway In The Morning and peep his interview with WNYU's NW3Radio to get a bit more of the origin tale behind the talent we're sure you'll be hearing plenty more of.
