Queen Latifah + Jada Pinkett Smith Reunite For A Raucous 'Girls Trip' [Red-Band Trailer]
Men, listen to me, if you have ever heard your girlfriend or significant other say that she was going on a “girls trip,” please know that the game has (and forever will be) changed thanks to Universal Pictures new film.
Starring Regina Hall (About last Night), Tiffany Haddish (Keanu) and serving as the first film since starring in Set It Off together, Queen Latifah and Jada Pinkett Smith — Girls Trip is a raucous field-trip for the females, as this red band trailer suggests.
Directed by Malcolm D. Lee (The Best Man franchise) and produced by Will Packer (Think Like a Man franchise) — these four lifelong friends head down to the real “Sin City,” New Orleans, for the annual Essence Festival. Throughout the journey, truths are revealed, sisterhoods are rekindled and wild sides are rediscovered as the kush, Hurricanes and good times flow in the Big Easy.
Based on a screenplay by Black-ish creator Kenya Barris and Tracy Oliver (Barbershop: The Next Cut) — Girls Trip is no slouch when it comes to black star power. Larenz Tate, Mike Colter and Kofi Siriboe also star as the male counterparts in this film. You’ve been warned: the language in this trailer is quite adult, so if you got speakers in the office, you might want to grab your air buds.
