Public Enemy perform classic material from their catalog of groundbreaking music with some legendary friends in the trailer for Rebels Without A Pause - the forthcoming documentary chronicling the eve of their induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. The night of performances took place ahead of the actual induction at the House of Blues in Los Angeles. The show hosted by Doug E. Fresh included performances from Whodini, Kool Moe Dee & The Treacherous Three and J.J. Fad. The documentary features commentary from P.E.'s friends and colleagues, including Darryl “DMC” McDaniels of Run-D.M.C., Eddie Murphy, Michael Rapaport, Russell Simmons and others. Public Enemy is the fourth hip-hop act to be inducted into the hall of fame behind Run-D.M.C., the Beastie Boys and Grandmaster Flash and The Furious Five. Public Enemy was presented the honor by Harry Belafonte and Spike Lee, who directed the game-changing video for "Fight The Power"; the seminal rap anthem of resistance was originally recorded for the soundtrack of Lee's classic 1989 film Do The Right Thing. Check the footage below for a taste of what's to come. The full documentary airs June 1st on Centric TV.
