A stunning recording of a Sun Ra concert at the Inter-Media Arts Center in New York on April 20, 1991 is now available on Vinyl and CD. Sun Ra passed away two years later on May 30, 1993. The recording was previously unreleased. You can cop the recording on vinyl or CD. The vinyl set comes with “three premium RTI LP pressings” and costs $39.98 while the CD set comes with two discs and costs $25.98. Both purchases come “packaged in stunning, tri-fold chipboard jackets.” The releases which are limited in quantity “also features extensive liners by noted jazz writer Howard Mandel, and is wrapped in a gorgeous design by legendary album-art icon, Jim Flora.
