President Obama Makes His Pick In The "Kendrick Lamar vs. Drake" Debate

President Obama Stands By Kendrick Lamar Always & Forever

No surprises here: President Obama is riding for Kendrick Lamar in the long-standing "Kendrick vs. Drake" debate. This should hardly come as a revelation to those keeping track of the POTUS and K Dot's quickly-forming relationship, which began when the two first met back in October during Kendrick & Co.'s stop at The White House to talk shop with Obama. Since then, President Obama has declared his favorite song of the year to be the To Pimp A Butterfly standout, "How Much A Dollar Cost."

And then came this morning's Youtube interview with the nation's commander-in-chief, where the president answered questions from the public, speaking to the dynamic set of concerns our citizenry has in regards to where Obama stands on pants for dogs, who his favorite Star Wars character is, most pressingly, who would win in a rap battle, Cornrow Kenny or The 6 God. Again, Obama picks the more familiar option, stating:

"I'm just saying. I think Drake is an outstanding entertainer, but Kendrick—his lyrics, his last album was outstanding. Best album, I think, of last year."

Indeed, Mr.President. Indeed.
