Watch Pharrell Bring Out Kendrick Lamar To Perform "Alright" In L.A.

Kendrick Lamar Pharrell Alright Live In LA Large

Friday night, Los Angeles radio station >Power 106 hosted its annual Cali Christmas blowout show at the Forum, and a few Butterflies got Pimped. During his set, Pharrell brought out Kendrick Lamar to perform "Alright," which he himself produced. The track has become something of a protest anthem for demonstrators calling for an end to racial violence and police brutality around the nation. As a result, "Alright" has seemingly grown in intensity each time Kendrick performs it, and with Pharrell backing him up the MC couldn't possibly sound more confident.

The world was already treated to footage of Lamar performing "Alright," (with a full band, no less) at the Austin City Limits festival, and now to see him tear it up onstage with Pharrell feels like a weekend victory lap we never knew we always wanted. Watch footage of both Pharrell and Lamar in action below--two musicians who hve had banner years in 2015 and seem all too eager to keep on moving forward. Also keep on the lookout for some fresh accolades for both P and K Dot--Grammy nominations get unveiled on Monday, after all. Pick up a copy of To Pimp A Butterfly on vinyl at the Okayplayer Shop.
