On August 9th, 2014, an unarmed teenager named Michael Brown was shot and killed by Ferguson police. By the next day, people were on the streets. The Ferguson uprising began.

A new documentary titled Whose Streets? aims to tell the story of that uprising. The movie, which was directed by Sabaah Folayan and Damon Davis, is not so much of an explanatory recap of what happened, but a full on inside look at the events that occurred and lasted weeks.

The movie comes out on August 11th, the weekend of the three-year anniversary of the events. Check out the first official powerful teaser trailer for the film below.
