For fans counting down the parsecs until December 18th, the trailers and teasers that have been coming out for Star Wars has been pretty exciting!
With every sneak peek, it seems that more and more of the story is leaking out to the public. So, reader, we must forewarn you that there might be potential spoilers if you choose to skip these words and press play on the latest TV spot, below.
If there are a few who wish to remain ignorant of the movie’s content, we wholly understand that you wouldn’t want to see anything from the new trailer or the new international trailer — both which are packed with fresh and midichlorian-free footage.
The new TV ad hones its focus on Daisy Ridley‘s character in the film, Rey, and teases her familial ties.
Star Wars: The Force Awakens is directed by J.J. Abrams and finds viewers returning to a galaxy, far, far away, some 30 years after the events of Star Wars: Episode VI – Return of the Jedi. In addition to Daisy Ridley, John Boyega and Oscar Isaac join the film which will also bring back a long list of fan-favorite characters such as Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher and Mark Hamill.
The Disney and Lucasfilm-produced commercial was originally released via Twitter, but there is a lot of action packed into this 31-second clip. Along with the teases of who Ridley’s parents are, there are some intense aerial dogfights on-and-offworld involving the Millennium Falcon and various other ships.
Enough rabbling from us, if you’ve stayed with this post this far, then kudos to you. Let us get out of your way, as you press play on Star Wars: The Force Awakens TV spot at the bottom.
