Under the cover of darkness, Robert Downey, Jr. and Chris Evans unveiled the debut trailer for the highly anticipated trailer for Captain America: Civil War.

For those who have been waiting for any inkling of footage and been ducking the spoilers, you will now be rewarded with some pure fire epicness. Directed by the Russo Brothers, who helmed the excellently crafted Captain America: The Winter Soldier, is bringing this non-Avengers flick to the masses on May 6, 2016.

The plot takes place after the events of Avengers: Age of Ultron, where the world and its government rethink just what a “superhero” is. The conversation splits Earth’s Mightiest Heroes right down the middle with certain players joining with Iron Man and others siding with Captain America. In short, this picture looks like it is everything that we’ve been wanting from a Marvel Cinematic Universe picture and more.

This first clip, which premiered last night, does feature a lot of Cap and his team — Falcon (Anthony Mackie), Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) and Bucky (Sebastian Stan). And on the other side, Iron Man leads his government backed team with War Machine (Don Cheadle) and possibly, The Black Panther (Chadwick Boseman), which marks the first big screen appearance of the character. Add to the mix that Ant-Man (Paul Rudd), Vision (Paul Bethany) and a host of others are still on the bill and Captain America: Civil War is reeking of awesomeness.

Oh, did we forget to mention that New York’s friendly neighborhood wall-crawler, Spider-Man (Tom Holland), will make his first Marvel Cinematic Universe appearance, too?! Well, if your head hasn’t exploded into a million pieces, then you should already Hulk smash that play button and check out this trailer that only tells a small portion of the story.
