#BlackExcellence: Ohio Quadruplets Choose To Attend Yale Together
#BlackExcellence alert, America. The brothers Wade—Nigel, Zachary, Aaron and Nick—made news after being accepted to other high profile colleges and university. After much consideration, the Wades have finally decided on a college to attend this fall.
The Wade Family has to be full of #BlackBoyJoy to see their senior sons—who had been accepted to Harvard and Duke as well—take their talents to Yale University. “Honestly, I am a bit overwhelmed,” Nick said. “It has been such a whirlwind these last few weeks.”
Their mom, Kim Wade, encouraged the brothers to stay together, saying, “It was a big deal for me that they stay together. We discussed it and the logistics of travel, and the support they will all have for each other… we decided as a family it is the best place for all of them.” “I feel really good about it. Yale has done a wonderful job of welcoming us,” Kim added. “It’s the best place and they have such a sense of family.”
Lakota East High School Principal Suzanna Davis, where the boys are graduating seniors, watched them grow up and is impressed with their ability to be “so close, but also forge four independent paths.” “They have thrived academically, but they have found their own interests.”
