Yes Lawd! is more than just the title of Anderson .Paak and Knxwledge‘s full-length debut as NxWorries on Stones Throw. It’s also the precise reaction most of us had upon learning that the album we’d all been waiting so patiently for had arrived a week ahead of schedule as an Apple Music exclusive.
But for those of us not biting into the whole exclusivity thing, Yes Lawd! has only just arrived to the world, now available on all major streaming platforms as well as finally shipping out on vinyl for those that prefer to hear it from between the dust and grooves of wax. You’ve lived with and loved “Suede,” tore up the dance floor with “Link Up,” blessed the air to “Get Bigger” and maybe saved “Lyk Dis” for the perfect night-time-is-the-right-time moment. But now you can hear the full script in any which way you please.
Stream the debut album from NxWorries down below on Spotify and if it’s good to ya, take a digital copy home with you via iTunes or hit Stones Throw for the vinyl treatment. Let’s hope we get to see these joints come to life live and direct before the year’s out.
