Nicki Minaj and Joe Budden Get Into Heated Debate on Queen Radio

Drama.

Nicki Minaj returned to Apple Music’s Beats 1 today (August 12) for Episode 15 of Queen Radio live from Los Angeles.

The rapper celebrated a year of Queen Radio being on air and invited surprise special guests— one of which was Joe Budden.

Though many expected Megan Thee Stallion to make an appearance, given their recent "Hot Girl Summer," the rapper turned podcaster went on the air with Minaj and got into a heated debate about industry dealings, drug use, and their history of tension.

Minaj addressed Budden for suggesting her IG Live connection and subsequent collaboration with Megan was staged and part of a planned rollout as opposed to being organic. The conversation also shifted to the controversy surrounding the making of Nicki and Cardi B's"MotorSport" collab. Minaj even pulled up a clip of Budden from Everyday Struggle to prove he believed that Nicki didn't know Cardi would be on the record.  Joe asked if Minaj and Cardi B exchanged shots at each other with their verses on the track.

At another point, Nicki told Joe, "You like tearing down women when they can't defend themselves."

Joe accused Nicki of being on drugs. At one point, Nicki cut Joe's mic off. The conversation got heated at almost every turn.

Ts Madison appeared on the second half of the episode.
