Miguel & Wale Team Up To Cover Elton John's "Bennie And The Jets"

Miguel teams up with Wale once more to take on a cover of Elton John's breakthrough ballad "Bennie And The Jets" for an upcoming reissue of the maestro's Goodbye Yellow Brick Road. Miguel's struts his deceptive range and Wale delivers an unusually affectionate verse and half-croon on this ill collaboration, which certainly is not a "Super Rich Kids" rehash a la Frank, nor is it the duo's attempt at another "Lotus Flower Bomb". Instead we get a heavily reworked cut that subs in reverb laden electronics for the driving piano chop of the original, ending with a product that is synth heavy and just straight dirty (in a good way of course.) The track will be available on various physical and digital mediums as of March 25th alongside a heaping roster of fellow Elton admirers. Listen to the Miguel and Wale's latest with their cover of Elton John's classic "Bennie And The Jets" below.
