Mick Jenkins' Video For "Get Up Get Down" Will Have You On The Good Foot In No Time
Mick Jenkins just officially dropped his much anticipated new project Wave[s], one we've heard plenty from over the months. But in celebration of the release, Jenkins has gifted us with a footwork-friendly clip for his latest single "Get Up Get Down," which is at heart a party-starting and ending cut, brimming with energetic drums and some slurred verbiage from the native Chicagoan. The clip -- directed by Nathan R. Smith and Sebastian Sdaigui -- manages to out-pace even the cut, following three fledgling but incredibly polished dancers as they tear up concrete, stock yards and construction sites with effortless ease, all fit with the iconic three-stripe suits that are standard issue in every b-boy and b-girl's closet.
