In Becoming, Michelle Obama says that Trump put her family's safety at risk because of the conspiracy theory.

Former first lady Michelle Obama has some choice words for Donald Trump in her memoir Becoming.

The Washington Post recently published excerpts from the book, where Obama writes that she will "never forgive" Trump for the birther conspiracy theory he made against her husband, Barack Obama.

"The whole thing was crazy and mean-spirited, of course, its underlying bigotry and xenophobia hardly concealed," Obama writes. "But it was also dangerous, deliberately meant to stir up the wingnuts and kooks."

"What if someone with an unstable mind loaded a gun and drove to Washington? What if that person went looking for our girls? Donald Trump, with his loud and reckless innuendos, was putting my family's safety at risk. And for this I'd never forgive him," she adds.

Trump claimed that Barack wasn't born in the United States, inciting the birther conspiracy theory that some people — like former Arizona sheriff Joe Arpaio who was pardoned by Trump — still believe in.

"The fact is if he wasn't born in this country he shouldn't be the president of the United States," Trump had said previously. "Why doesn't he give his birth certificate? He says he has a birth certificate. So either they don't have one, which is very bad, or there's something on it he doesn't want people to see."

Awhile back, Trump had finally acknowledged that Barack was born in the United States, only to backpedal.

Becoming, which drops Tuesday, details Obama's early life in Chicago, her time as first lady, and her feelings on Trump's election in 2016.
