This year marked the 20th anniversary of MF DOOM‘s debut album Operation: Doomsday. In honor of the occasion, the rapper has announced a new limited edition picture disc vinyl for Operation: Doomsday.

Limited to only 2,000 copies, the vinyl is numbered with gold foil stamping and housed in a gatefold jacket with art by the Lord Scotch. Scotch is the artist behind the original Operation: Doomsday design. The vinyl is $49.99 and can be purchased here.
In related news, Hannibal Buress served as the latest DOOM imposter at this year’s Adult Swim Festival.
During Flying Lotus‘ performance at the festival, the producer appeared to bring out the metal-faced villain as his surprise guest, just as Madvillain’s “Accordion” began to play. Sure enough, a masked figure emerged on the stage, but unfortunately, the burly figure behind the mask wasn’t the reclusive legend, but Buress, a friend and occasional collaborator of FlyLo’s.
