It's hard to believe that it's already been two years since The Internetreleased their breakout album, Ego Death.

The Internet have officially crossed over. You see it with how people have responded to solo albums this year from the likes of Syd, Steve Lacy and Matt Martians.

Two of those people — Syd and Martians — just appeared on NPR's excellent +1 podcast. The podcast is about 40 minutes, and we get to hear the two just talk music. They talk about their music, of course, but also, the music of some of the acts that influenced them, like the N.E.R.D. (The Neptunes) and Brandy. They also spend some time playing snippets of some of their favorite jams.

It's a good, often informative listen.
