The enigmatic producer said he's also trying to do an album with Pusha T, and that he's working with the rap group Griselda.

Looks like Madlib is interested in working with André 3000 in any capacity the rapper wants — even if it just involves him playing the flute.

In an interview with Complex, the producer voiced his interest in working with the Outkast member when the fan-made Otis Benjamin(a mashup that finds raps from 3000 paired with Madlib's beats) was brought up.

After offering his thoughts on the fan-made collab, Madlib replied to the question of if he would ever be open to working with 3000.

"Hell yeah. We'll make that shit way better than that. That was like... Eh. We'll do it right, you know what I mean?" he said.

From there, he's asked how he would get 3000 back in the game, in light of comments the rapper made last year where he said his focus hasn't been on making new music.

"I mean, he can do a flute album with me if he wants. Pied Piper and the beat conductor," the producer said.

Elsewhere in the conversation, Madlib shared that he's trying to work with Pusha T following his appearance on Madlib and Freddie Gibbs' Bandana album, and that he's also working with the rap group Griselda.

Unfortunately, there was no update offered for Madlib's anticipated album with Yasiin Bey and Talib Kweli as Blackstar. The latest update for the project came from Kweli three months ago, when he said it wasn't going to be a club-friendly project.
