Mac Miller is dropping his sophomore album Watching Movies with the Sound Off on June 18th (does that release date sound familiar?). While the LP is set to feature appearances from Flying Lotus, Action Bronson, and Earl Sweatshirt, no one could have predicted the 21 year old rapper to release a collaboration with Jay Electronica. Jay’s vereses these days are so infrequent that it’s a pleasure to get any treat he grants us. On “Suplexes Inside Of Complexes And Duplexes,” Miller spits over a self-produced organ heavy beat. The elusive Electronica sounds right at home dropping some majestic wordplay. Those waiting for his Roc Nation debut album are still going to have to wait, but this should hold you over until then. Stream the track below and pre-order Watching Movies with the Sound Off via iTunes.
