Los Angeles' Own MarcLo Goes For The Fences On "SWNGN"
If you’ve heard of the writing / production team, The Monsters and Strangers, who have worked with everyone from Rihanna, Big Sean and Diddy, then you have only cracked the surface on who MarcLo is. Born Marcus “MarcLo” Lomax, he would go on to create hits for these aforementioned stars through hard work and sheer creativity. The son of a pastor and a multi-instrumentalist, MarcLo has an ear for groovy sounds + catchy wordplay that has served him well since making his official debut into the music scene in 2009.
Now based out of Los Angeles, MarcLo attempts to get his solo Babe Ruth on with the song, “SWNGN”. Produced, written, sung and starring the talented musician, MarcLo blends that throwback, feel good vibe with a dash of 21st century turn up that makes this song instantly familiar, yet able to stand out on its own. With a career spanning almost a decade, with hits from “Diddy Boppin'” to “Work From Home” (Fifth Harmony) — MarcLo’s flavorful introduction to his new independent project is worth pressing play on.
Listen to “SWNGN” below, and keep an eye and ear out for his upcoming debut EP, Nostalgia.
