Lorde Chops It Up w/ Jimmy Fallon, Performs "Yellow Flicker Beat" Live On The Tonight Show

Lorde brought her "Yellow Flicker Beat" to The Tonight Show's stage last night, casting her spell on all of the late-night heads. What's more, the anti-popstress revealed herself to be a bubbly adolescent underneath that polished, pro aesthetic, opening up about how her breakout hit "Royals" (late-night debuted with Fallon & Co last year) was initially vetted for its radio potential and how she was forced to release it in it demo form; a decision she (and everyone who now has a job as result) will never live to regret. She also touched on what her relationship with Taylor Swift after meeting the yin to her yang at a Grammy's party. The Kiwi teen sensation is also playing a curatorial role in the creation of The Hunger Games' OST, which will feature a slew of her new superstar acquaintances, including Kanye West, Miguel, The Chemical Brothers, HAIM and so many more. You can watch Lorde perform her Hunger Games OST contribution as well as both segments of her interview on The Tonight Show down below and pick up a copy of the star-studded soundtrack via iTunes today.
