Lorde recently popped up at BBC Radio 1 to put her own distinctive spin on a cover of “Don’t Tell Em” – the DJ Mustard produced single from r&b singer Jeremih. Reworking the smash, Lorde and her band added their brooding signature to the Hot 100 track. Her love of the melody and the power dynamic present in the track reportedly encouraged her to perform the cover. While there, Lorde also performed “Yellow Flicker Beat” from the forthcoming The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Pt. 1 soundtrack. The performance comes as Lorde preps fans for the November 17th release of the compilation she curated and packed with a crazy selection of features.
