A few weeks back (after killin’ it at The Roots Picnic), Dev Hynes aka Blood Orange gave details on the inspiration behind his new album, Freetown Sound - named after the capital of Sierra Leone, where his father was born - and announced it would be released on July 1st via Domino. Well bullocks to that, 3 days early, Blood Orange hits his followers with a surprise.
