Watch Lil Nas X Respond to Dave East Calling “Old Town Road” Wack

“I do not give a fuck about what Dave East is saying.”

During an interview with the Zach Sang Show, Lil Nas X expressed his opinion on Dave East calling his viral hit, “wack.”

“I honestly have gotten this question so many, it’s like, I have the No. 1 song in the country,” he said explained around the 39-minute mark. “I do not give a fuck about what Dave East is saying.”

Last week, Dave East posted a video commenting on the song.

“That fuckin’ ‘Old Town Road’ shit is fucking wack,” East said on his Instagram Live. “I don’t know what the fuck is going on with hip-hop, with rap but…I ain’t no hater, man, but that shit is wack with a cape on it. It’s super wack!”

So far, “Old Town Road” has been remixed by Billy Ray Cyrus and Young Thug. The track leads the Billboard Hot 100 chart for its third week.
