Kendrick Lamar Hands Out Body Bags On “The Heart Pt. 4”

“Y’all got until April the 7th to get your shit together.”

So, that’s what the “IV” means.

Early this morning, Kendrick Lamar cleared his Instagram and put up one picture: the one you see above, a picture showing “IV.”

Most assumed the “IV” represented Kendrick dropping his fourth studio album.

Turns out we were off.

Moments ago, Kung-Fu Kenny tweeted out the link to “The Heart Part 4,” what we assume is the first single from his new album. And yes, we know a new Kendrick LP is coming soon because he talked to T Magazine about making an album centered on God recently. (Also, because he told other rappers they have “until April 7th to get their sh*t togther” on the track.)

Interesting note, First Look Friday alum, Khalid, also contributed vocals to this devastating song.

“The Heart Pt. 4” is available now on iTunes and Apple Music + check back in a few weeks when the mysterious album is out and we post our First-Take Listen review. We recommend you listen and then head to social media because we know Twitter is about to be lit.

Listen to the full song here courtesy of iTunes and check out a few reactions to the song below.
