UPDATE:
It looks like Sounwave is taking back some of his tweets. Yesterday the in-house TDE producer tweeted out these tweets:
Interesting. Now, this doesn’t mean that Kendrick Lamar still won’t drop a double album this weekend. However, we’ve gone from “cautiously optimistic” to “probably not gonna happen” in the span of two tweets.
See the original story below:
Kendrick Lamar’s latest album DAMN. has only been out for a couple of hours. But already there are fans who think there’s more new K.Dot music on the way.
Kendrick Stans are convinced that DAMN. is only half of a double album, and that Kung Fu Kenny will be releasing the second half on Easter Sunday.
Here is the evidence they scooped up:

Now, we’ll be the first to admit that some of this seems a bit ludicrous. (We’re rolling our eyes at the “DEATH 2 THE LEADER” stuff.) But there are some things that are a bit credible here, and it mostly has to do with how coy TDE affiliates are acting.
When DAMN. initially hit the e-streets here’s what TDE in-house producer Sounwave tweeted:
A couple of hours after that, Moosa, Anthony “Top Dawg” Tiffith’s son, tweeted:
And then there’s Cardo, who’s not a member of TDE but who helped produce “GOD.”
Add all this to the fact that since Beyoncé dropped, we’ve been in a golden era of creative drops. (Literally, just two months ago Future dropped albums on back to back weekends.) So we’re not saying something is up…but it seems like something is up.
In other cool TDE-news: Punch, president of Top Dawg Records, posted this cool memento on his Instagram page: it’s a photo of a lost Kendrick Lamar verse that was scrapped from “PRIDE.”
