Riggins confirmed to us that not only was his follow-up to the brilliant 2012 solo debut Alone Together on the way, but would be arriving within the next couple months. The album will be titled The Headnod Suite and will bring the spotlight back to his off-kilter swing and supreme chop styles in a “very beat-driven album.” Though a precise release date has yet to be revealed, it’ll serve as the beginning of a new phase for the Detroit heavyweight.
