Kanye West Drops Two "SWISH" Snippets With "Real Friends" & "No More Parties In L.A."
Kanye West is ramping up Yeezy SZN by premiering two new snippets to songs we believe might be featured on SWISH. In a not-so-subtle peg to responding to Kendrick Lamar‘s “I’m the One” quip from last night’s Tonight Show appearance, ‘Ye dropped two tracks, one called “Real Friends” featuring Ty Dolla $ign and the second on titled, “No More Parties In L.A.,” featuring the aforementioned TDE superstar.
With more than three Kanye West tracks in the ether, plus the rumored return of the popular G.O.O.D. Friday Music Series — it seems that there is some truth to the possibility that we will get a new release from the popular MC. Although the tracks are quickly being pulled from the internet, you can get these sounds in your earholes fast before they are gone.
The new Kanye cuts are more in line with his older production style with out-of-this-world samples and concise, thought-out rhymes. The full track of “Real Friends” was put out by Kanye Tudda as a means of enticing fans, but as we mentioned the song has been quickly removed. Meanwhile, “No More Parties In L.A.” was just meant as a tease for fans using Kendrick Lamar as a beacon.
“Real Friends” was produced by Kanye West with samples dug up by Frank Dukes and Boi 1da and Mobb Deep‘s Havoc handling drum programming. On the other side, “No More Parties In L.A.” was blessed by the one, the only Madlib on the boards. It doesn’t matter if you were too late to hear this track, as we have some rips for you below:
Kanye West’s SWISH and the G.O.O.D. Music Fridays series have no confirmed release date, but we will keep you posted as it develops.
